The tower has a ring-shaped air outlet with an air/water heat exchange body at the base. For at least part of its height, the inside of the tower wall (1) between the heat exchange body and the outlet (2) is clad with noise-absorbent material. This cladding can be centred on the last points of reflection of the sound waves before they reach the outlet, and it can be in the form of panels of agglomerates of elastomer material, in which metal meshwork acting as a reinforcement is embedded. alternatively, a mat of rock wool with moisture-repellent fibres can be used, and it can be in strips mounted at several different levels. |
