Fungicidal compsns. contain >=1 triazole deriv. of formula (I) and >=1 other fungicide (II) which is a dithiocarbamate, a polyhaloalkylthio amine, and imidazole or benzimidazole deriv. a polyhalobenzene and N-sulphinyl-N'-arylhydrazine or S or its precursors. (R1 = phenyl opt. substd. by a halo, NO2, CF3 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy or phenyl, R2 = H, 1-4 C alkyl or phenyl, R3 = 1-6C alkyl, 5-6C cycloalkyl, phenyl or 4-chlorophenyl, Y = CO, C=NOH, C(OH)2 or CHOH). There is a synergistic association between the components. They have low toxicity to plants and warm-blooded animals and can be used in plant protection for control of fungi and bacteria. They have systemic action and can be applied to the plants or soil, or as seed dressings. A typical compsn. contains 1-(p-chlorophenoxy)-3,3-dimethyl-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-2-butanon- e and 2,4-dichloro-6-(o-chloroanilino)-1,3,5-triazine and is esp. useful for controlling rusts and Septoria or cereals. |
