The gearbox has an input shaft (2) which carries the drive pinion (3) with a selector wheel (5). The drive pinion meshes with the idler gear (15) running on the spindle (16) which runs in bearings (17). The idler gear meshes with the second output shaft (19) through the gear engaged by the clutch (22) which rides on the splines on the shaft. The clutches are engaged by means of operating levers (25) sliding on the spindle (26) and located by means of a spring (24). The lever may also be operated by means of hydraulic oil pressure.
