<p>The burner operating with evaporated oil reduces the period separating the start of ignition till the steady-state combustion is achieved. The design also reduces the size of the unit and leads to complete combustion of oil. At the same time, it prevents an incomplete combustion when the burner is tilted. The burner (1) is in the combustion chamber (2) connected to heat exchanger (3), and is surmounted by fan section (4) through which the air from the heated premises is forced through. The oil flow in pipe (6) is controlled by valve (7) and actuator (8) in the line from oil tank (9). The air for combustion is delivered by blower (10) and the waste gases are exhausted by pipe (11). The oilfeed plate of the burner is made of porous metal providing a three-dimensional structure of cells which are interconnected while the capillary forces draw the oil through the thin plate.</p> |
