Figs. 3a and 3b illustrate a side view and plan view, respectively, of an impeller 10 used for producing the turbulent flow conditions. The impeller comprises a rotatable support 11 having central opening 12 to receive drive shaft 17, and around the opening 12 concentric vane 13, around which six curved vanes 14 are disposed. Vane terminals 15 are provided to increase agitation. Turbulent flow is achieved by clockwise rotation of the vanes.
