Plastic film stuck to plastic foam strip by heating - without introducing a separate adhesive at that moment

Flat materials (esp. ceiling tiles) is produced by sticking a plastic film to a strip of plastic foam. This is done by heating the film, or the foam, or both, to a temp. sufficient for the required adhesion when the two components are pressed together. The plastic need not require a separate adhesive. Method may be applied to ready-cut pieces. The material may be re-shaped into a relief pattern during the operation.
