1489303 Reagent for blood COULTER DIAGNOSTICS Inc 17 Jan 1975 [5 July 1974] 2184/75 Heading G1B A reagent for leukocytes and haemoglobin in blood comprises a ferricyanide free aqueous solution of 0À0006-0À005 M CN- and NR 4 + (3 short chain and one long chain alkyl groups) the latter being provided by dissolving 0À5-10 wt. per cent of a salt in the solution. The salt is preferably a halide, sulphate, phosphate, or nitrate and the cyanide an alkali metal cyanide. In use blood is diluted and mixed with reagent (blood: reagent # 1:8À6). |
