A flat dry cell is constructed as disclosed in Specification 912,911 except that in this Specification the wrapper 12 overlaps the foil 10 in all directions whereas in the present disclosure the wrapper overlaps the foil on two opposed sides only, thus the joint visible in the drawing is between the cathode collector 16 whereas in the case above cited it is between the ends of the wrapper 12.
