<p>A telephone receiver has an amplifier unit to allow reception on a loudspeaker instead of an ear-piece. The unit is small and can easily be mounted in a small case. The unit has a panel (1) and two 'L' section sides (3, 4) to form a channel. The channel maybe closed by a back panel (3). The channel may be extended by other side panels (5). The front panel (1) has a fixing flange (14) which can slot into a mounting panel, and has a locking tenon to secure it into a mounting hole. The unit can accommodate functional elements such as a loud-speaker, a push-button, a microphone, an indicator, and connectors.</p> |
