<p>The heat exchanger especially a motor vehicle air conditioning plant evaporator or condenser is made from flat metallic tubes. This tube is bent into a convulated shape and has straight sections connected by rounded parts. Heat exchanger has small frontal surface are and is compact. At least in the region of the bends on the same side of the convoluted tube arrangement the minimum spacing between two adjacent straight sections connected by the same bend, is smaller than the diameter (A) of the bend. Alternatively in the region of each bend (2a) the minimum spacing (C) between two adjacent straight sections (1) which are connected by the same bend, is smaller than the diameter (A) of the bends. The heat exchanger can be made of two convolution arrangement with straight parallel sections one which are nested into each other. Both arrangements have common end connections.</p> |
