Door threshold constructional system - includes plastics protective cover which is removable when construction work is finished (NL 3.10.77)

The present design aims to make it possible to fit door thresholds together with the door frames in the same operation as the partitions are built. The threshold (6) is delivered to site with a protective plastics sheathing (16) and the threshold is fitted together with the protective sheath, which is strong enough to stand up to rough conditions during construction work. When the construction work is finished the sheat is removed from the threshold by cutting it away at edge (18) and the unblemished threshold need not be treated or provided with any kind of finish.
