<p>A gravity assisted motor which can be used for electricity generation has a spoked wheel (2) behind which is a drive wheel (3) with further spokes between the spokes of the first wheel, forming a composite motor. Weights (4) with rollers (7) guided by tracks around the inside of the casing (5, 6) enclosing the wheels fall onto the spokes as they rotate. A boss at the rear of the drive wheel (3) is secured by a key (14) to a sleeve (13) connected to a space control wheel and the other wheel (2) is secured by a key (10) to the drive shaft (1). A threaded part of this shaft engages the inside of the sleeve (13 which fits inside an adaptor (15) retained from rotating by a further key (16). This is threaded internally for a wheel (17) which is rotated by a helical drive screw (18) so that it slides inwards or outwards for speed adjustment.</p> |
