<p>The body (10) is a strip formed into an elongated loop. A hole (13, 14) is in each rounded end and another through each of the two sides. A hexagon headed pin (11) passes through both side holes and has a disc (17) with pawl teeth and fitted over a squared pin section. A spring (19) over the pin bears on the disc and forces it to engage teeth (15', 15'") regularly spaced about one hole in the body. A cable, cord, etc. passes through the end holes (13, 14) and a hole (12) in the pin. As the pin is turned the pawl teeth ride over teeth on the body and the cord winds round the pin.</p> |
