Holding appts. for operation head towel - has hood-like carrier linked to rack adjustable w.r.t. operation table and patients head for sterile protection

The holding appts. is for an operation towel, sheet or similar providing a sterile protection for part of a patient's head resting upon an operation table. The appts. at a mounting position is adjustable w.r.t. the table and the patient. A hood-like carrier (3) can be positioned over the patient's head. The carrier is linked to a rack (9) which is adjustably fitted at the retaining position. The carrier is pref. of wide-meshed wire frame formed from bowed or circular segment long and cross struts (13, 14). The carrier (3) can be fixed to the rack (9) by means of a ball-and-socket joint (4).
