The receiver has a circuit for automatic search for transmitters operating in the standard frequency grid and outside it. Certain criteria of transmitters are measured, and when a transmitter worth receiving is found, the search process is halted by means of a special stopping circuit. The receiver has a tuning circuit switched at first in a channel to a first search range narrower than the channel width, and also narrower than the search channel width into which a transmitter of the standard frequency grid would fall. Then it is switched to another search range, also smaller than the channel and search channel widths. It lies between first two search ranges.
|
