<p>The battery-operated alarm clock has a buzzer (1) formed by a cooperating coil and armature and a printed circuit. The manual alarm switch (2), for switching the buzzer off is combined in the same housing (3) as the buzzer (1). Pref. the buzzer coil (4) and the manual switch (2) are fixed to the circuit board (9) carrying the printed circuit for the buzzer (1), with this circuit board (9) forming the base of the housing (3). The manual switch (2) pref. comprises a plastics bolt (13) projecting through the top of the housing (3) and with two spring arms at its other end for contacting the upper surface of the circuit board (9) and holding the switch contacts (17) against its underneath surface.</p> |
