<p>The rotary pump may also be used as a motor or brake depending on the conditions under which it operates. It has a circular outer casing (1a) with bores (2) spaced radially around its circumference. The outer ends of these bores are equipped with screw-in permanent magnets (13) and are in communication by an annular passage (21). Multiple leaf vanes (14) slide inside each bore; these are magnetisable, their sides being coated with non-magnetic for easy sliding of the leaves (15 to 18). Their inner ends contact an eccentrically mounted rotor (10), the space forming a working chamber. Suction (28a) and delivery (28b) passage are provided for use as a pump.</p> |
