Railway shunting automatic release circuit - has residual sector release relays in shunting sector groups

The switching circuit in railway track layout control systems is used for automatic release of shunting sector residual items, in effecting turning movements. A residual sector release relay is provided in each shunting sector group switchable from a shunting sector group for the opposite direction of travel when the track sectors for the groups concerned are signalled as being clear, and when no train sector commands are in store for these elements. A switched-on residual sector release relay returns the applied command store relays via a release track passed over by all the groups concerned, where there are groups held back until the turning signal is given.
