A partition 9 is disposed in the cap which is filled with sand. The pins 16 may have flattened cross-sections, and these may have a size appropriate to the fuse rating. The housing may have a circular, elliptical or polygonal cross-section, may have a convex closed end wall, and may be formed from ceramic or plastics material. |
