<p>Safety belt for vehicle and aircraft seats consists of synthetic threads, with a textile pile on >=1, pref. both sides. The textile pile may extend along part of the total length of the belt, pref. in >=1 section which is remote from both ends of the belt. The pile may be in the form of a three-dimensional textile structure which is woven or knitted or produced by tufting, flock coating, etc., and which covers the belt; alternatively it may be woven with the belt in one piece. The safety belt does not feel uncomfortable even when it lies closely adjacent to the body of a passenger, it allows a certain amount of damping in case of impact, and can be dyed as desired without problems.</p> |
