<p>The signal evaluator is intended for pick-ups identifying the TDC of a piston in a combustion engine. Each pick-up has at least one marker on a component rotating with the crank-shaft. Each marker has a fixed reception element and a series connected pulse former. A switching device (12) is operationally dependent on the number of markers. In its first position the switching device connects directly the angular pick-up to a measuring device (13), when only one angular marker is available. In its second position it connects the measuring device in series to a circuit (11) which converts pulses from two markers into a single pulse, corresponding to that from a single marker. Preferably the switching device is manually operable.</p> |
