The appts. provides physiological stimulation electrically, and incorporates a support (2) to be worn by the user, an impulse generator (3). Two or more electrode assemblies (4, 6) are fixed to the support and connected to the generator, being subjected to a pulsating potential difference. Adjusting devices (9-11, 13, 14) regulate the position of these assemblies on predetermined cutaneous zones of the user's body. The support can be an article of clothing such as a vest, belt, glove etc.
