<p>The tie member design is for HV overhead line insulators. The connection to the tie is made at the ring middle between its two free ends. This tie is rigidly connected to an auxiliary tie whose free end reaches to the ring free ends. It has at its free end a thickening with a recess on its side. The thickening (7) of the auxiliary tie (6) dismountably connected to the main tie has recesses (9) into which the protective ring (1) ends (2, 3) are inserted. They are held in the recesses (9) by insulating caps (10). The cross joint between the main and auxiliary ties is retained by hexagonal nuts.</p> |
