The. spinning solution may also contain an alkali metal nitrite and/or ascorbic acid erythorbic acid or an alkali metal salt thereof. The protein may be vegetable, e.g. soya or ground nut, protein, bacterial or fungal protein or animal, e.g. casein, protein. The haem protein may be haemoglobin in the form of blood or the erythrocytic fraction of separated blood or myoglobin. |
