1486460 Reatomizing condensed fuel in spray carburetters YAMAHA HATSUDOKI KK 24 Dec 1974 [28 Dec 1973] 55737/74 Heading F1H A horizontal draft carburetter comprises a piston-type throttle valve 14 defining a choke section 15 in a main air passage 11 and means 22, 23, 25 for delivering liquid fuel to the choke section, a groove 27 for catching fuel deposited on the wall of the air passage 11 and a passage 28 for conducting the recovered liquid fuel from the groove 27 to the choke section by way of an opening 29. In Fig. 2 (not shown), the recovered liquid fuel passes from the opening 29 to the choke section via holes (32) controlled by the throttle valve 14 in which pipe (30) is a sliding fit. in Fig. 3 (not shown) recovered liquid fuel passes from passage 28 via passage (34), groove (36) in the throttle valve 14 to opening (29a). Fuel for idling is supplied from a float chamber 19 via port 25. |
