Disclosed is a loudspeaker system for vehicles in which at least two loudspeakers may be mounted on the ceiling of the vehicle. The loudspeakers are connected to each other and to the ceiling by means of an elongated element. The top side of the element has a shape corresponding to the shape of the ceiling. The end portions of the element are directed downwardly for permitting the element to be fastened to the vehicle above the level of the doors and side windows thereof and the element near its ends comprises cabinets for the loudspeakers. The system provides more equal sound levels in the front and back seats than in prior art arrangements.
