PURPOSE:To print correctly by providing a memory for storing received image data, a scanner part, a memory for storing the data read by said scanner part, and a comparison circuit which compares the data of said two memories with a reference value. CONSTITUTION:Data and clocks are sent from an external device. The clocks are sent to a clock shaping circuit 1, where the clocks are turned to clock N signals of a waveform to compare pixels and sent to address circuits 1-3, 2-6 and a scanner part 2. An image memory 1-4 sequentially records the data by a data signal and an address signal from the address circuit 1-3, while an image memory 2-5 sequentially records the data by an address signal from the address circuit 2-6 and a data signal from the scanner part 2. A comparison circuit 7 sends the address information of the memories to the address circuits 1-3, 2-6 and receives the image data of the image memories 1-4, 2-5 designated by the address information. The comparison circuit 7 then compares the image data and adds the number of inconsistencies. When the number is larger than a reference value 8, the comparison circuit 1 determines the image as abnormal. Accordingly, the abnormality of the data can be mechanically detected, making it possible to easily recover the data. |
