The inner portion of the stopper has an internal thread to take the bung. This piece is flanged at the base and has an outer collar (7b) at the top. The inner piece is surrounded by a cone (42) which is held under an outer ring (48). An 'O'-ring (9) is located between the cone and the inner piece. The edge of the hole in the drum (11) is wedged inside the cone and the stopper tightened on the outer ring (48). The lower ring (35) provides support for the drum metal. |
