<p>Level measurement of flow medium or motor oil in motor vehicle uses measuring rod and wiping-off arrangement fixed to housing of flow medium container. The wiping-off arrangement (2 to 5) surrounds the measuring rod (1). An flexible prestressed wiping-off part lies against a correspondingly adapted side of the measuring rod (1). The measuring rod (1) rotates through 90 deg. about its longitudinal axis (7), so that in the rotated position the wiping-off part does not lie against the adapted side of the measuring rod (1). The wiping-off part consists of a spring prestressed jaw. The measuring rod (1) has one or more plane flat sides.</p> |
