Evacuator for urological operations comprises a pipe connected to a valve connected to a siphon. The valve has a cylindrical housing with two openings (46, 48) at an angle to each other, one connected to the pipe (50) and the other to an outlet connector (52). The housing has a peripheral slot (58) and a wall at each end. A rotary valve body (70) with a valve channel (74) communicates with the two openings and with a projection extending through the slot. The valve channel extends perpendicularly to the axis of the valve body and diametrically through it. A tubular connector (72) extending from the valve body out of the housing and connected to the siphon extends through the slot, while its interior (76) is aligned with the valve channel.
