<p>A device to be used e.g. to give access to groups of small packets assembled in a tray, and enclosed in a shrink wrapper of transparent film, heats the film around the contour of the cutout required, by means of a melting ring with a heating element. The suction tube has the melting ring fixed to it by screws. A tightly fitting heating element encloses the melting ring transfers its heat so that the ring can melt the film. The insulating housing together with insulating rings above and below prevent the unwanted transfer of heat to the suction tube which is attached to the guide tube by a pretensioned retaining spring so that both parts are continuously pressed together. Enables price tickets etc. to be put on the small packets, without the awkward operation of stretching the film for the cutting out of a washer by the rotary movement of a knife, with the attendant risk of damage.</p> |
