Seals 22, 23 of combined metal and rubber or plastics may be provided. In a further embodiment (Fig. 2, not shown), a dish-shaped sealing plate of light metal, plastics, or sheet steel is secured to the outer ring and extends across the axial end of the inner ring. The race rings may be made from sheet steel, or powdered and sintered material. The outer ring may carry a radially extending tapped flange on the outermost surface (Fig. 4, not shown). |
