PRODUCTION OF DEODORIZING FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorizing fiber capable of semipermanently keeping deodorizing ability and providing no lowering of whiteness without falling off effects by cleaning, etc., by subjecting a cellulose-containing fiber to dipping treatment in an aqueous solution containing periodic acid (alkali metal salt) under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:A cellulose-containing fiber is subjected to dipping treatment in an aqueous solution containing periodic acid (alkali metal salt) at 5-95 deg.C for 1-3hr to provide the objective fiber.
