An offset print machine is for priting repeat patterns on a web, e.g. for patterned wallpaper. It comprises two plate cylinders (1, 2) respectively having plates (6, 7) defining successive parts of the pattern. The plates, which each extend over less than 360 deg., cooperate with a single blanket cylinder (3) having a circumferentially continuous blanket. The plates are so related to the blanket that the trailing edge of the first pattern part lines up with the leading edge of the next part. The blanket diameter is an even multiple of the combinee arcuate length of the two plates so that a continuous repeat pattern is applied to the blanket, and from the blanket to web (12).
