Gas burner ignition system with delay device - has flame monitoring control valve responding to temp. sensors reference value comparison

Fuel heated source has valve controlled ignition and main burner with monitored flame. The control valve is closed or opened by a regulator by comparing reference and actual values of heat source temp. This arrangement prevents high ignition gas consumption by minimising the number of ignition cycles per unit time. The ignition gas valve (8) is closed by the regulator (15) via a delay element (19). The delay time of the delay element is prolonger together with the greater deviation of the actual value of the temp. from the reference value of this temp. The delay time can be controlled by the temp. measured by the sensor (14).
