The unit serves in particular for dosing in liquids into a liquid stream. The displacers (1b, 2b) of at least two pumps (1, 2) operating in push-pull mode are driven by a control cam (3) in such a way that the opposite movements of the displacers in a start zone of the delivery stroke of the one pump and in an end zone of the delivery stroke of the other pump are superimposed on one another, and that the constant delivery rate of the two pumps resulting therefrom per angle of rotation corresponds to that delivery rate which is output per angle of rotation of the control cam by each individual pump in a delivery zone situated between the start and the end zones. As a result, the system is largely free of pressure surges, independent of the back-pressure. <IMAGE>
