<p>The rapid fitting snow chain has a length nearly fitting around the wheel and with each end fitted with steel hoop grips (1, 1'). It is fitted tightly over the wheel, leaving the section touching the ground, free, and is secured by the hoops. After rotating the wheel a short amount the uncovered section is fitted with a coupling section of chain (2) clipped between the hoops. The chain is simple and rapid to fit, without any special tools required. It can also be removed with ease. It enables the driver to fit and remove the chain to suit the different road conditions on a journey.</p> |
