Support pillar for bathrooms - is intended as aid for handicapped persons fixed or suspended from wall and equipped with required fittings

The sanitary equipment as an accessory for toilets and bathrooms is especially intended for use by elderly or handicapped people in the form of a pillar acting as support for service elements such as switches, toilet valve levers, toilet paper rolls. The pillar is directly connected or adjoining the bathroom or toilet wall and is made of desk shape. It is fixed either directly to the wall or may be suspended from it (1, 2). In addition the pillar may be supported in front by the floor (F) and if necessary may have extra anchorages on the floor. The pillar may also be equipped with electric cables, points and switches to control lights and/or heater installations.
