<p>The hot gas engine pushes cold working gas by displacement piston through a complementary heat exchanger or a regenerator. The gas can move subsequently through an after heater. The pressure increase due to heating is used for moving a working piston. One or more cylinders have several pistons arranged in series within cylinder chambers. A common piston rod ensures movement of pistons. Two cylinders may be used of which one (1) has several chambers (8), for collection of cold working gas. The latter is passed through bypass, complementary heat exchanger or regenerator and after entry and back to this cylinder. The second cylinder has a piston (3) with lagging movement.</p> |
