<p>1484168 Boat steering lock TEKNOFLEX CONTROL SYSTEM AB 26 Nov 1974 [11 Dec 1973] 51037/74 Heading E2A A steering control arrangement for a boat having an antitheft lock comprises a housing 10 with a rotatable cable wheel 34 connected to a shaft 14, one end 22 of which projects out of the housing to carry a steering wheel (not shown), a panel attachment 12 around shaft 14 and connected to housing 10 by a nut 44 concentric to the shaft, surrounded by a part 48 of the attachment 12 and engaging a threaded part 42 of housing 10, part 42 projecting through a bore 40 in attachment 12 and supporting a lock cylinder 58 which, in its locking position, projects into part 48 and engages a notch 60 in shaft 14 on that side of nut 44 remote from housing 10. Wheel 34 is connected to shaft 14 through gears 26, 30, 32 and engages a steering cable (not shown) by means of peripheral groove 38. Part 50 of attachment 12 is attached to the instrument panel (not shown). Part 20 of housing 10 has four axial flanges 52 at 90‹, bore 40 having eight axial grooves 54 at 45‹ therein for adjustable alignment therebetween.</p> |
