Profiled insulating rail for window frames - has metal insulating profiles with engaging tapers and deformable pressure flanks

The profiled insulating rail is for use in door-and window frames. The rail consists of two metal rails connected via heat-insulating rubber- or synthetic profiles. All profiles engage locking. The metal profiles (1, 2) have wedge-shaped recesses (3, 4) and the insulating profiles (12, 13) have corresponding engaging tapers (15). The insulating profiles are inserted into the metal profiles with free play, and moved into engagement via deformable spring elements. The metal profiles have deformable pressure flanks (10) which in a deformed position act in the wedge-engagement direction onto the tapers of the insulating profiles. The flanks project into the inner space of the profiles.
