<p>Tailstock, particularly for heavy for heavy rotary machines, with a lengthways displaceable dead centre carrier moving with the tailstock and located in the tailstock housing. The dead centre carrier (4) is located in roller bearings (5), in a pretensioned state, which bearings allow a slight displacement of the inner ring (6) connected to the carrier (4) in relation to the outer ring (7) connected to the tailstock housing (3). The carrier (4) supports aginst a hydraulic column (9) with adjustable pressure, and in the tailstock (1) a device is fitted which effects the clamping and release movements and the adjustment of the tailstock (1) in the lengthways direction of the machine bed, via a toothed rod connected to the bed.</p> |
