Picture frame includes a rear wall and a foot support. The frame (3), together with the rear wall (2), is made in one piece from strong glass. The frame has a pre-curved cross-section obtained by ringless pressing. The foot support (4) is made in one piece with the picture frame but having less width than the picture frame, (1). The depth of the foot support (4) has a maximum of twice the width of the picture frame (1), but is normally about the same as its width. The height of the foot support is normally smaller than the height of the picture frame with a maximum of twice the width of the picture frame.
