Wire twisting supply drum mounting - has supporting guide path to control tension of wire passing to twisting station

System for twisting wires into cable strands, partic. for electrical cables, i.e., for telephones, uses a mounting for the supply drums with a guide path which supports the wire as it is drawn out. The system gives tension control on the wire being drawn into the cable twisting machine, to allow some four insulated leads to be twisted together in a cable of consistent quality with controlled electrical and mechanical characteristics.
