<p>The gas burner fed with air and gas under pressure, has a housing (1) forming a rectangular tube with a series of jets to fire a multiple flame. The top surface of the rectangle has two sloping surfaces, forming a V shape. In each face is a row of discharge holes (10, 11) which may be at the top of cone shaped projections (12, 13). The gas discharge holes (4, 5) are behind these holes, in line with them, so that the axes (6, 7) cross at a point above the housing. A gas supply tube (2, 3) inside each corner of the housing has these gas discharge holes, so that the gas discharged has the effect of draining air by induction through the cone shaped projections, and the flames (9) form at the intersection point. The distance (r) between the holes is between 1/2 and 1/3 of one distance (1) between the gas discharge hole (4) and the intersection point (8).</p> |
