Tractor drawn trencher with discs cutting trench sides - is mounted on draw bars which pivot w.r.t. vertical axles giving lateral disc adjustment

The tractor drawn trenching machine has disc cutters (9, 10) forming the "trench" sides, and permits lateral disc displacement to avoid rocks. The machine also includes rippers (13) for trench bottom decompaction, and gear for gathering and replacing spoil previously excavated and placed along side the trench. The machine includes a three-point draw bar (7), a trailing ploughshare (14), a reverse-curved spoil excavation ramp (15, 16) and opposed pairs (9, 10) of trench side cutting discs. Lateral disc (9, 10) adjustment is effected by mounting them individual on cantilever draw bars (29, 30). The free ends of the draw bars support the disc axles (11, 12) and the leading fixed ends may be rotated about vertical axles (3, 4). The axles (3, 4) are in turn mounted on vertically displaceable bars (1, 2).
