The device for removing corks which have been accidentally pushed inside bottles has a suitable handle at the top with three wire prongs extending from it, which can be inserted into the neck of the bottle. These are then manipulated to grip the cork so that it can be pulled out. The three wires are sufficiently stiff and at the same time springy to be kinked near the bottom to spring apart after insertion. A collar mounted near the top under the handle enables these ends to be forced together after insertion to grip the cork.
