<p>The rotary impact screwdriver has an electric motor, the rotor of which has claw like protrusions and forms the hammer of the impact driver. The driver has an anvil which also has clawlike protrusions and a spring operated coupling arrangement which connects the hammer via the anvil to the screwdriver spindle. The screwdriver has a motor switch-off arrangement, the switch of which can switch the motor off when the hammer is coupled to the anvil. The coupling arrangement consists of a distance piece between a part which is fixed to the housing and the anvil as well as a release arrangement consisting of control and unlocking members which are operated when the spindle is moved longitudinally.</p> |
