<p>The plug and socket connector is for air pressure lines in mining applications and has a socket (2) contg. two transverse bores (10, 11) into which the arms (14, 13) of a U-shaped locking bar are insertable. The arms engage an annular groove in the outside of the plub (1) to lock latter in position in the socket. The arms each have two opposite flat sides one of which engages the cylindrical bottom of the groove. The other two sides of each arm are convex of a radius fitting that of the bore. The radii of the latter sides are the distance between the flat sides of the bar.</p> |
