<p>In the finishing of textile materials, after the end of chemical cleaning, the material is passed through a bath comprising (a) the organic solvent used in the chemical cleaning, and (b) an aq. soln. or dispersion of the desired finishing agent, dispersed in (a). Used for articles made of wool, silk, cotton, regenerated cellulose, polyamide, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, etc., which are normally cleaned chemically. Uniform finishing effects are obtd. also on mixed fibre textiles. Loss in finishing agent is very small as it is nearly all deposited on the article.</p> |
